Dad, 6 years have passed, and now 5jib is ready and out.
Because you’ve protected me beside, I can still smile to this day. Each year, I write you a letter, and now it’s the 5th time… Actually I couldn’t write anything when you were here. I didn’t know then because I was too young (it would have been better to have shown you more love).
The unaware gratitude when you were by my side, and whenever you are not by my side, always I think of you and regret this. I should have said “I love you” one more time… I should have said “Thank you so much” one more time… “thank you so much for being my side” - let me give you this thankful hug one more time. Even if we had misunderstandings sometimes, it’s not what I actually feel, and the words I said were not right…now looking back at it, all of it are excuses…Therefore, (now) I learn one by one from my experience. ^^ So, it’s the time that I’m learning a lot.
Dad’s son, Donghae, won’t be corrupted in this world, and if the world wants to corrupt Donghae, please help me then, Dad. ^^ Sometimes, what I have is really beautiful and pretty but when compared to other’s, sometimes mine seems humble and smaller… When this happens, this son who makes you embarrassed feels apologetic a lot… Even if I’m knocked down or fall two times, I’ll become a son who’s able to stand up again…I love you…and I love you ^^

Wow… it’s already 5jib… time passes really quick. Members and ELF went through 6 years already, and have been through a lot, much laughter, and many tears, many happy things, and many tiresome things… thank you for being with us… As days pass, as months pass.. a year has passed already. There are more ELF around the world with us. The time we have spent together is so long. I’m very happy.
Leeteuk hyung is living for the right reason, to see the world filled with Sapphire blue… he really us our best leader Leeteuk! Let’s fight together for 5jib! If we didn’t have ELF, there would be no Super Junior! We are idiots who don’t know anybody but ELF! Super Juni-oyeyo! After 5jib we will temporarily not release a Super Junior album but we will always be together! You know that! You will wait for us right? To ELF I don’t know what to say except for loving words!
